"The California Department of Education is recruiting input to assist in reimagining how California schools create flexible and inclusive ways for students with disabilities to meet graduation requirements. The Inclusive Access to a Diploma: Reimagining Proficiency for Students with Disabilities initiative is designed to support California educational systems with the knowledge, skills, and tools to provide students with different options to express their proficiency in courses required to earn a high school diploma."
This initiative invites students and families, educators, administrators and school service providers to give feedback and input on tools and resources provided on the website, which is available through January 31, 2025. The CDE will also host Town Hall meetings on September 24, November 21 and January 7. Links to register are on the website. Make your voice heard!
